Team game: $3 per member; $7 per non-members
Solo games: $3 for either free throws or 3 pointers; $5 for both

Competition System:
1st round Round-Robin system and Single-knockouts for 2nd and final rounds

Champion: A golden championship trophy or medals
1st runner up: A silver championship trophy or medals

Hong Kong Student Society (HKSS) is going to host the annual Internal Singing Contest at the Ackerman Grand Ballroom on 2/3/2010.

Admission is FREE!! So come support your friends, watch our great dance performance by HKSS dance team and singing performance by last year's Internal and U-852 Singing Contest champion - Kelsey Guo.

Winter and Spring Orientation
I hope you had a wonderful winter break! To welcome you back to school, HKSS is going to have our Winter and Spring Orientation next Wednesday, Jan 13th 2010. We will provide you with information about our upcoming events in winter and spring quarter. Also, we will play a SCAVENGER HUNT on campus! It's going to be fun and exciting. So please come with your friends and win some war game tickets and candy!!

**Please come before 7:00pm since the game will start at 7:15pm. Late comers might not be able to play/win the game!

HKSS 2010 Ski Trip

Let's start off our winter quarter with HKSS's annual ski/snowboard trip!!
Just a two-hour drive from UCLA, Big Bear Lake is a great ski resort that provides you with a lot of fun and adventurous excitement! We are also going to have a lot of fun activities for our cabin party!

Meals:
Two dinners and two breakfasts are included.

Lift Tickets:
There is no lift ticket package ($45-$55) nor any equipment rental package & transportation included.

Non-member: $70
Late bird (application and payment due after 12/31/2009)

HKSS Mahjong Tournament 2009

Mahjong, with its long history originating in China, is a game of skill, intelligence, calculation and luck. It is one of the most popular games in China and around the world.

Mahjong Tournament 2009 will be a great opportunity for you to exchange your Mahjong knowledge and win a big cash prize! If you want to learn about this magnificent piece of art or just to have some fun with your friends, please come!! We will also have poker, jenga, UNO, and other board games available as well!


Mahjong Tournament Details:
Type: Cantonese Mahjong
Participation Fee: $5 for members; $10 for non-memebers
Entrance Fee: FREE for members; $3 for non-members

The champion will win a $60 worth prize!
1st Runner Up gets a $40 worth prize and 2nd Runner Up gets a $20 worth prize!
Raffle ticket prize will also be available for everybody!
